Screen Shot 2015-02-09 at 4.39.33 PMWho can resist a fluffy white dog??? Bichons look super high maintenance but actually are pretty simple to keep looking beautiful.

Weekly brushing of your Bichon is a must. A good comb, conditioning spray and slicker brush will make fast work of the routine. Their pink skin can be very sensitive, so always remember to back brush only the hair and don’t touch the skin with the tines of the slicker. Finish with a thorough comb through and VOILA your Bichon will look as fresh as the minute he stepped out of our salon!

If you enjoy keeping your dog in a show coat he will need to come in every 4 weeks to trim off the ends. If a little shorter is your style, haircuts should be every 6-8 weeks.

Bichons look awesome in trendy ‘Asian fusion’ styles that highlight their bubbly personality.

If you would like to explore the options of an Asian inspired style please schedule a consultation. The sky is the limit with Asian trims.

Bring your Bichon in for a haircut this week and receive a free gift!
